We have partnered with Social Fabric, a project based Zurich, that supports the use of ecologically friendly and ethically produced clothing. Social Fabric works together with refugees locally. They are piloting a project to provide internships to refugees, and their interns will receive training in job skills and entrepreneurship. These products were designed by refugees in Zurich, and each design has a story behind it. In addition, depending on their permit status, the designer will receive 20% of the proceeds of the sale, or the 20% will be donated to a non-profit organization of their choice.
Buy a t-shirt, and support the project.
All of the t-shirts are purchased from Freeset, an organization in Calcutta, India that provides job re-training and employment to former prostitutes. T-shirt are made from GOTS certified organic cotton.
Meet the refugees who designed the t-shirts wearing their first prototypes.
